Robert Hicks, founder of Back to Church Sunday, launched in 2004, lives in Bath UK. Robert Hicks had the idea and decided to select the local church of St Philip and St James, Bath to try out his idea. Robert Hicks was delighted to see the success of his idea and you can see the results in 2006 on the slideshow. Robert Hicks said, "Its a simple idea, but can be profound for those who re-connect with the church." Robert Hicks project caught on and soon the Diocese of Manchester contacted Robert Hicks to take up Robert Hicks plan. Back to church Sunday soon spread nationally and is now an international day from Robert Hicks original idea.
