Our Vicar Alan has been with Czech friend, Daniel Hejzlar, in the Ukraine, Moldova and Transnistria. They have been looking at setting up an "English Camp" for next year and working with ACET (Aids Care Education and Training) in Odessa. For details and to follow Alan's Blog of the visit click here.

Youth Groups spend weekend away |

|
Over 50 young people and nine leaders from St Philip's church went on a weekend for the Pathfinder and CYFA youth groups. Pathfinders, ( 11-13 year olds) slept overnight in the Old Deanery in Wells, While CYFA (13-18) spent the weekend near Axminster. For more details of St Philips youth groups see the menu opposite.

On September 27th church members invited friends and family back to church.
The whole day was a great time to welcome old friends back to church.

Brother and Sister Baptised |

Brother and sister, Nathaniel and Jayne Naylor, were baptised by full immersion in the baptismal pool of St Philips' church on Sunday evening September 13th.
Congratulations to them both!

Jez and Fernanda's wedding |

|
A group from St Philips' church joined Jeremy Ash and Fernanda Perna Pereira de Costa for their wedding in Jez' parents' garden in Ogeu-les-Bains in the Pyrenees, France in August. Conducted by Rev Alan Bain the service was relayed live on the internet with family watching in Brazil and Littlehampton!
